Make a Canon DSLR for a few bucks...hello Christmas

Now we're not suggesting your cheap or anything.

Noooo, not you. What you are is smart.

That's why rather than spending thousands of dollars on your camera loving friend by buying them a Canon DSLR camera this Christmas, you're spending thousands of minutes making them oneĀ insteadĀ .

Oh you sweet thing you.

And it's simple.

The good folk at Paperkraft.net  have uploaded the 'easy-peasy' plans showing you how to make a Canon DSLR out of cardboard.

We say 'easy-peasy' instead of easy-peasy because, well you have to use a ruler AND scissors in one sitting and from our experience that can be dangerous (don't ask but it involves Jessie the wonder dog and an unfortunate incident with an otherwise well meaning photographycampus sign).

Sure it probably doesn't work but it's Christmas folks not well, something bigger than Christmas.

Besides what did they give you last year, huh?

(Our thanks to @john__robb for pointing this out to us. You can follow our tweety bits too @photocampus).
