November Is Environmental Portraits Month

Environmental Portraits are enormously popular.

So says all the hits we've had on our Introduction to Environmental Portraits with Marcus Thomson.

So as of mid November, and in the spirit of dedicating every month to a theme, we'll be kicking of Environmental Portrait month here at the Photography Campus.

• Interviews with Marcus Thomson and others. (In particular we'll be talking about Marcus's exceptional Mozambique photo essay). The photo here is just one of them to check out more go to Marcus Thomson's site.
• Tips as to how to get the best portraits in a flash ( and yes that pun was deliberate).
• Techniques. How do you engage people?
• Critiques. We'll examine some of the best around.
• Post Production. How you can enhance the story with a few tweaks.

It's going to be huge.
